Leukade is an author’s red wine made from Tempranillo and Graciano.
It comes from two very small plots located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra which, due to their layout, age and altitude, do not reach the desired quality and ripeness every year. Only in the best years is this wine produced. Ideal with red meats, game stews and chocolate desserts.

Old vine grapes are fermented in French oak vats.

15 months in French oak casks.

Colour: deep cherry red with violet reflections.
Nose: intense, complex and elegant aroma. Ripe black fruit on a balsamic and spicy background.
Palate: powerful, full-bodied and flavoursome, full of aromas, fresh, excellent tone and elegant on the palate. Complex and long-lasting aftertaste.
Serving temperature: between 16ºC and 18ºC.

At the foot of Mount Toloño, on the other side of Sierra Cantabria, Salinillas de Buradón is born, a small village near the Ebro that testifies to the importance that these lands once had and the peculiarity of its vineyards. From its plots “Salinillas de Tobelos is born”.

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak vats.

10 months of ageing in second year French oak casks.

Colour: deep cherry red with purplish reflections.
Nose: intense, complex and elegant aroma. Ripe red fruit, black fruits, on a balsamic and spicy background.
Palate: powerful, ample and tasty, full of aromas, fresh, excellent tannins and elegant on the palate. Complex retronasal passage with long persistence.
Serving temperature: between 16ºC and 18ºC.

This wine comes from the “La Fonsagrada” plot in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Viura/Macabeo and White Grenache at 506m.

The grapes are cooled for 24 hours in a cold room. Manual selection table. The must ferments in 4×500-litre bocoyes, 1×300-litre oak cask.

10 months of ageing on lees with batonage.

Colour: straw yellow with silver iridescence.
Nose: high intensity with aromas of flowers, fruit and tertiary aromas. Sweet spice in the background.
Palate: fresh attack, volume throughout, unctuous, long and mineral.
Serving temperature: between 9ºC and 11ºC.

This wine comes from the Los Quiñones vineyard in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria. A vineyard of old Viura / Macabeo vines of low production, loamy soil and cool climate.

24 hours in cold storage and fermentation in 2 x 500L bocoyes, 1 x 300 l French oak cask.

9 months of ageing on lees in the place where they have fermented.

Colour: straw yellow with silver iridescence.
Nose: It should be left open for a while so that it can express its aromatic intensity, showing the flower and fruit.
Palate: Chamomile, lime blossom and broom with a blend of citrus and tropical fruit. Sweet spice accompanying in the distance. Fresh attack, great volume throughout, unctuous, long and mineral. Very elegant unique expressive character.
Serving temperature: between 9ºC and 11ºC.

This great wine is a meticulous selection from a small plot planted in 1982: Las Piletas, classified as “Viñedo Singular”. Located in Labastida (Rioja Alavesa) at 490 m a.s.l. Garnacha vines with very low yields, loamy textura soil and a cool climate, with an Atlantic influence.

Partial ageing of 12 months in second year 225 litre French oak casks.

Colour: Deep cherry red color with violet reflections.
Nose: High aromatic intensity, complex and elegant. Red and black fruit with hints of scrubland herbs and spicy notes.
Palate: Very persistent on the palate, this wine is very full-bodied and velvety. Its fresh quality is very well -structured. Excellent tannins, elegant with great volume and freshness. Remarkablpersistent and complex.
